Few musicians have joined the spirit of Jazz and rock as successfully as Scott Henderson, who consistently gives us masterpieces of harmonic complexity, tremendous energy and tonal beauty.
He is fully identified with both the Jazz and Rock traditions, and combining the two creates one of the strongest voices in fusion guitar.
Scott Henderson, influenced by an era where blues-rock was at its peak, started playing in clubs, tracks from Led Zeppelin to James Brown.
Delving deeper into the knowledge of the electric guitar, he was influenced by guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Albert King and Buddy Guy.
Although he considers himself more of a blues-rock guitarist, it is his jazz influence that has given his unique style to his playing and has made him known worldwide.
He has played and recorded with the world's most famous bands, such as Chick Corea's Elektric Band and Joe Zawinul's Weather Report.
