Can we look at life with fresh eyes? Can we get to the core of human dignity by observing a person's life over time?

Having presented his latest work Une mort dans la famille in February in Paris at Ateliers Berthier (Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe), the playwright and director Alexander Zeldin, a rising star of the British theatre, comes this year for the first time to Greece, to present the Confessions, narrative of a woman's life with primary material the conversations with his mother.

Born in 1985 to a Russian-Jewish father and an Australian mother, Zeldin has worked in South Korea, Egypt and the Middle East, among others, and from 2011-2014 worked as an assistant to Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Estienne. He established himself and enjoyed international success with his trilogy The Inequalities, in which he tackled the dramatic social effects of austerity in Britain.
