Eridanos River
During the excavations for the Athens Metro, a substantial part of the Eridanos river was rediscovered and brought to the surface. The stream of the river though, as it flows from Monastiraki Square, has been excavated.
Since the Era of the Hellenic Classical Times, the Eridanos River has been covered with a brickwork tunnel.
