Pioneers of sludge metal from New Orleans, CROWBAR bring to the Greek audience for the first time their slow and destructive sound, combined with hard-core punk aggression.

In the new sound format they mix slow low key doom metal sounds with the power and energy of hardcore punk and thus lead a new musical idiom called Sludge metal, which was to be followed by other bands from the French speaking state of Louisiana such as Eyehategod, Soilent Green, Acid Bath, Down.

In their 33 years of musical career, CROWBAR have recorded 12 full-length albums. They have participated in the biggest metal festivals such as Desertfest, Millwaukee Metal Fest, With Full Force, Inferno Metal, Brutal Assault, Hellfest, and have toured with bands such as Overkill, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage, Sepultura, Sacred Reich, The Acacia Strain, The Casualties and many others.
