The Numismatic Museum, as part of its extroversion and cultural dialogue activities, organizes a periodic exhibition with works by the visual artist Fotis Danalis entitled: "focus-LIFE".

The hearths of Ilios Melathros host eight creations of the artist inspired by nature, open horizons, contours, figures, shapes and colors.

The works of Fotis Danalis, placed on the marble hearths of Ilios Melathros, capture the illustrated reflections of the artist, who uses oils and mixed materials, seeking inventive color and stylistic contrasts. Through the abstract depictions of landscapes and figures that predominate in the decorations of Ilios Melathros and in the exhibits it hosts, a process of internalization of the artist's thoughts and external stimuli is presented, suggesting that personal experience transcends all latitude and longitude, and does not locked into specific forms.

The General Coordination and Curator of the exhibition is the Doctor of Art History, Georgios Kakavas, Director of the Numismatic Museum, assisted by the archaeologist Dr. Dimitris Kloukinas, the museologist Eleni Naki and the graphic designer Meni Bideris.

The works were photographed by the distinguished photographer Georgios Mestousis. The exhibition's communication consultant is Ms. Aliki Danali.
