Technochoros art gallery presents Maria Diakodimitriou's solo exhibition under the title Remake, curated by Art Historian - Archaeologist Iris Kritikou.

The artist creates in her works a utopian world, influenced by memories of the past that have inspired her, adapted to images of today. One could say that Maria Diakodimitriou is setting up a phantasmagoric theatrical scene, with intense color touches on a predominantly black and white background. The ruins of a classical era are integrated into the modern industrial landscape, composing the uniqueness of these cities and defining the identity of the artist.

The curator of the exhibition, Iris Kritikou, says, among other things, about the exhibition:
"Methodically invoking the two concepts of remake and reimagining, synthetically activating every different aspect of academic teaching and empirical osmosis, enlisting every recess of her endlessly fertile imagination, Maria Diakodimitriou constructs from the start a dense universe where primary knowledge and archetypal image are used as deposit and reservoir, as a labyrinth and mirror of the mind with interactive and simultaneous methods." and goes on to say "The use of multimedia runs through and weaves together the agile kaleidoscope of these images, contributes to the fascinating unfolding of the virtual narrative, defines the surreal effect of the heterochronic and heterotopic composition."
