A new project by Tassos Stamos in the footsteps of "DAD" (Discrepant 2019) and the duo he formed with Thodoris Ziarkas ("AMAN!!!", Discrepant/ Sucata Tapes, 2018, 2019), "Rebeticore" tests, deconstructs and she reconstructs the rebetika form, between punk noise and electro-acoustic music, bringing out the transcendental elements she usually loses in her more established interpretations.

The sound of the bouzouki, acoustic or refracted with electronic means and noisy abstract taxis, paradoxical choral and urban soundscapes, creates a sonic action in which contemporary expression fuels a new reading. The project is accompanied by percussionist and improviser Stefanos Chytiris and visual and sound artist Panos Charalambous.

Tasos Stamou is a composer of contemporary electro-acoustic music and improviser. His move to the United Kingdom a decade ago shaped his music towards the assimilation of new avant-garde currents and the search for an imaginative and nostalgic Greekness. In recent years, he has turned more and more towards the fusion of these two trends, through a musical trilogy of electro-acoustic music influenced by the Greek musical tradition (Musique Con Crete / DAD / Antiqua Graecia). His resume includes over 300 live performances and recordings. He has collaborated with many musicians from the field of improvisation and exploratory music (Adam Bohman, Anna Homler, Steve Beresford, Sharon Gal, Mike Cooper, etc.).

Panos Charalambous is known for works inspired both by his personal life and by modern Greek folk history. In 2019, he took part in the Venice Biennale with the project "A Sitting Eagle". He has worked as a teacher and rector at the School of Fine Arts in Athens.

Drummer Stefanos Chytiris grew up in Athens and completed his musical studies in America. He has participated in many schemes of the New York improvisation scene, while developing personal works, in collaboration with Bram De Looze, Luca Rosenfeld, Daniel Carter, Ingrid Laubrock, Todd Neufeld, Pascal Niggenkemper, Billy Mintz or Tony Malaby. Produced by drummer Michael Carvin, Flux Project–Pyr|n (2014) is his debut album. In March 2017, he released the album Egata with a seven-piece band, where the instruments meet in specific keys, with short dotted phrases and coordinated outbursts.
