About

After the destruction of Athens by Sulla, the city finally falls into the hands of the Romans to begin its reconstruction, and its last glorious period. Roman soldiers, emperors and poets visit Athens, study, get inspired and give back with works. Athens regains its former glory and emerges as an important philosophical and cultural center of the Eastern Mediterranean.


Following in the footsteps of Hadrian, Julius Caesar, Pompey, Mark Antony on this evening walk we discover the great Athens of Roman times and let the ruins speak to us, just as they spoke to the father of tourism, Kyriacus Aconite 600 years ago.

Always with a qualified guide and use of a wireless guided tour system, for comfortable monitoring.
