The Ersi Gallery and the Advanced Design Workshop are co-organizing, as part of the 16th Audiovisual Arts Festival of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, the group exhibition entitled "Exercises of Seeing".

Students of the Advanced Design Laboratory of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of Corfu participate in the exhibition, with the Department's Art and Associate Professor, Spyros Verykios, responsible for the exhibition. The exhibition includes works by nine students and graduates of the Laboratory, which emerged after independent research in the context but also after the end of their studies.

The exhibition includes works from different materials and media, drawings, painting, photography, constructions and installations. In the texts of the artists we can detect key words, such as truth, silence, identity, self, memory, experience, imagination, which can guide us in viewing their works.

The participating students are:
Yannis Andreou, Angeliki Dobrogianni, Kassandra Thomas, Christos Mavrodis, Theodora Patiti, Vivi Perysinaki, Andriana Rodakou, Dimitris Spanos, Omer Hatziserif.

Spyros Verykios also participates in the exhibition.

The Curator of the Annex of the National Gallery of Corfu, Marina Papasotiriou, prefaces the exhibition.
