Rains and storms on the horizon in the coming hours
Rains and storms that will be accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and possibly hail will affect almost the entire country, including island areas, while the strong phenomena in the mainland will occur mainly in the midday and afternoon hours.
The areas where strong phenomena are predicted are:
Today, Friday (16-06-2023), Epirus, western and central Sterea, western and in some places central Macedonia, western Thessaly, probably the northwestern Peloponnese and mainly in the evening hours the Ionian Islands.
On Saturday (17-06-2023), central Macedonia (especially the region of Halkidiki), eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly (including the Sporades), Evia, central and eastern Sterea (including temporarily Attica) , the northern Peloponnese, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean, the Dodecanese and, in the early hours of the morning, the Ionian islands.
On Sunday (18-06-2023), the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean and parts of Halkidiki, eastern Thessaly, the Sporades and Evia.
