1 killed, 8 injured in clashes between AEK, Dinamo Zagreb supporters in Athens
In an announcement on Tuesday, the Hellenic Police headquarters said that 98 people had been detained and an investigation launched to find all parties responsible and shed light on all aspects of the case. "The incidents occurred an hour and a half after the visiting team completed their training and departed from the football field, along with the coaches and police escort."
It said that strong police forces were sent to stop the violence, who detained 98 people involved in the incidents, while an inquiry to locate additional culprits and shed light on any other aspect of the case was continuing.
