Shooter Anna Korakaki comes in 2nd at World Championships
In the battle for the gold with China’s Jiang Ranxin, she started with a disadvantage (220.0 - 219.4) and despite her 10th, Anna finished the match with a score of 238.3, compared to the 239.8 of her opponent, who took the gold.
This is Korakaki's third medal in a World Championship, after gold in 2018 in South Korea and silver last year in Egypt.
“Every competition is different and every competition is special,” the Rio 2016 champion said after the final.
“This is my fourth medal in a row at a world championships. I’m very honoured, I’m very happy and I’m very thankful.”
Li Xue, also from China, took the bronze.
