PM Mitsotakis to address the UN General Assembly
Government sources reported that the prime minister referred to the support provided by Greece to Ukraine from the first moment, while they exchanged views on the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Afterwards, Mitsotakis had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Soouth Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol. According to government sources, the two leaders discussed the prospect of strengthening and deepening bilateral economic relations, following the recent visit to Greece by a delegation of Korean companies and their meeting with the prime minister. Mitsotakis also referred to the prospects of the Greek economy, as well as the investment opportunities presented in Greece. In addition, the goal of shipping decarbonization, the contribution of the Korean shipbuilding industry to its achievement, as well as Busan's candidacy to host EXPO 2030 were discussed.
