ADEDY: Work stoppage on Thursday - Calls for an all-education rally
The Confederation of Greek Civil Servants' Trade Unions (ADEDY) declared a nationwide work stoppage on Thursday (8/2), calling on civil servants to participate in the all-education rally and to accompany the Student Unions.

The Confederation of Greek Civil Servants' Trade Unions (ADEDY) declared a nationwide work stoppage on Thursday (8/2), calling on civil servants to participate in the all-education rally and to accompany the Student Unions.
In a related statement, the federation states that the work stoppage will last until the end of the working hours "in order to express the support of civil servants with their participation in the Panhellenic Student Rally in the mobilizations of all Student Associations and all bodies of the academic and educational community , of the students, the labor unions and the whole society so that the private universities do not pass".
"We support the requests of the Student Associations, because Education is everyone's business" it is added.
