Traffic measure in Southern Suburbs and Kifissos
In particular, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in road sections in the area of the Municipality of Alimos, Glyfada and Hellinikon-Argyroupoli:
- Gradual and complete suspension of vehicular traffic, during the hours 11.00 to 13.00, on the following road sections:
- Posidonos St., from the intersection with Alimos St. to the height of Vergoti Square in both traffic streams,
- Evryalis Street,
- Theta Street, from its junction with the side street of Posidonos Street to its junction with Ellinikou Street,
- Iota Street,
- Ellinikou Street, from its junction with Theta Street to its junction with Iota Street.
- Stopping and parking of vehicles is prohibited until today at noon (1:00 p.m.), on the following streets as follows:
- Evryalis Street,
- Theta, from the junction with the side street of Posidonos Street to the junction with Ellinikou Street,
- Iota,
- Ellinikou Street, from the height of Theta Street to the height of Iota Street.
The Traffic Authority asks the drivers, in order to serve them better and to avoid additional traffic problems, to choose as alternative routes their movement through Vouliagmeni Street and/or other municipal roads of the Municipalities of Glyfada and Hellinikon - Argyroupoli and to follow the signs and instructions of traffic controllers.
Temporary traffic regulations from the evening until tomorrow morning on Kifissos Road in the direction of Piraeus
Temporary traffic regulations on Kifissou Avenue in the direction of Piraeus due to the execution of works are applied from today until Friday. In particular, according to the Traffic, there will be a complete stop to the traffic of vehicles in the right lane of Kifisos Road, 250m. before the exit branch towards St. Ag. Anne and until its exit, traffic flow towards Piraeus, today and during the hours of 22.00 to 06.00 the next day. - For the execution of the above works, there will be a complete blockade of the exit branch to Ag. Anne's for vehicles, with the exception of OASA and KTEL vehicles where they will pass normally. - ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: A) Kifisou Street (stream to Piraeus) - right branch exit to Agios I. Rentis - left K. Palaiologou - right Parodos 7th (I.N. Ag. I. Rentis) - left Bihaki - right Ag. I. Renti - right crossing of OSE lines - left Agia 'Anni - right or left Strg. Makrigianni. B) Kifissou Street (flow to Piraeus) - right exit branch to Piraeus - left turn to Lachanagora - straight entrance branch to Kifissou Street to Lamia - straight Kifissou Street to Lamia - right exit branch to Agias 'Annis / Legaki - left Agia 'Anni bridge - straight strg. Makrigianni. The Traffic Authority appeals to the drivers of vehicles to be especially careful when passing through the work points and to follow the existing road markings.
Moreover, in related news, traffic has been restored on the entire Line 7 of the Tram "Asklipieio Voulas - Agia Triada". It should be noted that the traffic, from 10:00 in the morning and following the order of ELAS, was carried out in the Agios Alexandros-Agia Triada section.
