The foundations of the Riviera Tower, the 50-floor tower that will dominate the Hellinikon coastal project south of Athens are completed, Lamda Development said on Wednesday.
Located at the Elliniko-Argyroupoli suburb, the tower's foundation involved placing 111 posts of 1.5 m in diameter at a depth of 50 meters. The skyscraper will be 200 meters high when complete and will be the first green skyscraper in Greece. Its foundation system follows the construction of high-rise buildings like Burj Khalifa and Petronas Towers, Lamda said.
Considered the largest green coastal housing tower in the Mediterranean, Riviera Tower is expected to be completed early in 2026.
